Terms and Conditions of Booking

​

• Ullswater Outdoor Adventures accepts your booking as confirmed on receipt of a non-refundable deposit. This deposit is 50% of the total booking cost at the time of booking if it is more than 4 weeks to the activity date.

• The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the activity date.

• If your booking is made within 4 weeks of the activity date, the full amount is due on booking.

• Payment is normally by bank transfer, on receipt of your booking form you will be sent an invoice.

• You accept that the activity that you have booked involves an element of risk, as do all outdoor activities. By taking part in an activity with Ullswater Outdoor Adventures you agree that you will follow all safety instructions given by your instructor. You also understand that you must take reasonable responsibility for your own safety where appropriate. While your instructor will take all appropriate precautions to manage risks to minimise them, they cannot be eliminated completely. 

• All under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

• All the information you have provided on your booking form (including medical information) is accurate at the time of booking and any changes will be communicated to Ullswater Outdoor Adventures prior to the activity.

• Ullswater Outdoor Adventures do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings.

• Ullswater Outdoor Adventures reserve the right to cancel or modify activities where it is felt that clients are putting themselves or others at risk of injury.

• Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be excluded from the activity for their own safety and the safety of others.

• Your personal information is confidential and will be used solely for the purpose of the activity session booked and will not be shared with third parties.

Cancellations

• Cancellations by the client (in part or whole) less than 4 weeks before the activity will not be refunded.

• Cancellations by the client more than 4 weeks in advance will be refunded minus the non-refundable deposit paid.

• Occasionally adverse weather conditions may mean that Ullswater Outdoor Adventures have to cancel a planned activity. We may offer an alternative activity or provide a full refund in such instances. We do not accept any liability for any other costs associated with travel or accommodation. If you are concerned about this you may wish to consider separate insurance.

A refund will only be given if members of the public are prohibited from visiting the area
